Cancellation Policy

Incidental Hold

Upon check-in we require a credit card and matching photo ID be presented. We will authorize the credit card presented at check-in for the full amount of your reservation as well as a $50.00 incidental hold.

Guests must be 18 years old or older to check-in. Operational procedures in regards to OAC access, housekeeping, room service, amenities, and check-in time are subject to change without notice due to our COVID-19 response measures. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. 

Additional Information - Parking, Club Access, & More

All of our guest rooms are priced to accommodate 2 people. If you wish to accommodate additional guests in your room, please let the front desk know so that we may provide the appropriate number of linens. Each additional person will incur a $25 fee. Minors are the sole responsibility of the accompanying adult and advised not to be left unattended in the rooms.

A $250 penalty fee will be charged for smoking on property. Pets are welcome in the lobby and outdoor area of our rooftop lookout only. A $500 penalty fee will be charged for non-compliance.

The Olympic Athletic Club is open and available to guests from 5am to 10pm Monday through Friday, and 6am to 10pm on Saturdays & Sundays . Access to the Olympic Athletic Club pools is by time slot reservations only at this time.

Parking options for Hotel Ballard guests include our on-site underground parking garage or nearby surface parking lots for oversized vehicles. Parking is $20.00 USD per night unless it is part of a promotion or travel perk. For your convenience, please arrive in our loading zone located in front of Hotel Ballard's main entrance to collect a parking pass and instructions on how to enter the garage. The main entrance is located at: 5216 Ballard Avenue NW, Seattle, WA 98107.

Please be aware the Olympic Rooftop Pavilion is located on our 5th floor, adjacent to our Courtyard suites. There may be events hosted in the pavilion during your stay. We encourage you to contact the front desk in advance of your stay to inquire about any events scheduled during your stay, or to request a room away from the event space.

Effective June 26th, a statewide order requires individuals to wear a face-covering in indoor public spaces such as the Hotel Ballard lobby, the Olympic Rooftop Pavilion, and Stoneburner. 

Under a force majeure, the performance of this agreement for either party is subject to acts of God, government authority, disaster, strikes, civil disorders, or other emergencies, any of which make it illegal or impossible to provide the facilities and/or services for this contracted reservation. It is provided that this agreement may be terminated for any one or more of such reasons by written notice from one party to the other without liability.   

In the unlikely event any a guaranteed reservation cannot be accommodated by the Hotel, the Hotel will provide the following: 

• Accommodations at a comparable Hotel as close as reasonably possible at no charge to the guest for the first night the guest is displaced from the Hotel. 
• One complimentary round trip ground transportation between the Hotel and the alternate Hotel for each day the guest is displaced. 
• Offer to relocate displaced guest back to first available room. 
• If room becomes available and the guest elects not to return to the Hotel, the Hotel will have no further obligations under this clause.
