Hotel Ballard Reservation Policies
Reservations must be guaranteed with a VISA, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover card. To confirm your reservation, a credit card must be on file, even if accommodations will be paid for by cash. Please note this credit card is only to guarantee your reservation. We require payment upon check-in, if you wish to pay with a credit card that will not be present upon check-in, please contact the front desk at (206)789-5012.
Promotions & Reservation Packages:
All Hotel Ballard promotions and reservation packages are subject to unique restrictions stated within the promotion or reservation package information page. All promotions and reservation packages are only available to new reservations. Existing reservations cannot be modified retroactively to include the offers or items presented in the promotions or reservation packages.
Damage to Hotel Ballard property – We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage caused by the deliberate, negligent or reckless act of the guest to the hotel’s property or structure. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest’s credit / debit card, or send an invoice for the amount to the registered address. We will, however, make an effort to rectify any damage internally prior to contracting specialists to make the repairs, thereby attempting to make an effort to keep any costs that the guest would incur to a minimum.
We are a pet friendly lobby, with a lobby dog, however, pets are not allowed in the guest rooms.
Check in and out:
Check-in begins at 3pm. Check-out is at 11am. All early check-in or late check-out requests are subject to availability. Please contact the front desk for more information.
NOTICE: All reservations due to arrive between March 17th and April 30th, 2020 will not be subject to a cancellation fee.
Cancellation must be made at least 72 hours prior to arrival date/check in time in order to avoid penalty. The cancellation of a reservation must be made via email or telephone. However, a confirmation code must be requested and obtained by the guest to verify that the cancellation request was received. Failure to obtain and provide a confirmation code when requested will result in a full charge for the original reservation. Cancellations made with less than 72 hours notice prior to your arrival date or no-shows will be charged one full night's room and tax.
Hotel Ballard is a non-smoking facility. Any expenses resulting from deodorizing the property or other smoke related maintenance shall be the financial responsibility of the occupant of the room, which includes but is not limited to lost revenue. Furthermore, the act of smoking voids any discounted rate and the occupant will be financially responsible for all discounted room revenues.
Removal of Hotel Ballard Property:
We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of replacing any items that are removed from the premises by them without consent. The charge will be the full replacement amount of the missing item, including any carriage charges. Should the fact that the item is missing come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guests credit/debit card, or send an invoice for the amount to the registered address. Every room is checked prior to check in.
