Shingletown’s NYE Honky Tonk Bonanza


5 p.m. | Shingletown Saloon
Say goodbye to 2018 and “yee-haw!” to 2019 at Shingletown>/a href>’s Honky Tonk Bonanza. This festive night includes beer pong from 5 to 8 p.m., karaoke from 6 to 9:30 p.m., and their resident country DJ, DJ Nostalgia, spinning all your favorite tunes from 10 p.m. on at Seattle’s favorite country bar!

NYE Guided Meditation

Begin 2019 with a level head and a calm demeanor after taking part in
a guided meditation at the Kadampa Meditation Center. Welcoming everyone, Western Buddhist monk Gen Kelsang Khedrub is leading this guided meditation and chanted prayer gathering for a peaceful start to the New Year.

Dress up in your best flapper outfit and get ready to party, because this Prohibition-themed New Year’s bash is going to be the bee’s knees! The Barrel Thief bar in Fremont is hosting their annual Prohibition-themed New Year’s Eve costume party featuring swingin’ retro music, a time period-appropriate cocktail menu, champagne flights, and a midnight countdown.

High Council NYE Album Release Party


8 p.m. | The Substation Annex
Visit the Substation Annex event space for a psychedelic New Year’s Eve party! Funky hip-hop and electronic groups Marshall Law Band and Tryin’ will accompany the bill with The High Council for the release of their second album, “Chasing the Sun.” Jam out and make some memories!

Ayron Jones & The Way NYE Party


8 p.m. | Tractor Tavern
Ayron Jones combines good old rock ‘n’ roll with hints of blues and rhythmic hip-hop. Celebrate his album “Audio Paint Job” and ring in the New Year with indie folk group Duke Evers and rock-revivalists Stereo Embers, who also share the lineup at Tractor Tavern.

Stardust New Year’s Eve Bash


8 p.m. - 2 a.m. | Nectar Lounge
The Nectar Lounge in Fremont hosts this glam celebration sponsored by The Stranger and featuring BowieVision! BowieVision is a seven piece musical group covering songs from every stage of Bowie’s career. Party with them and Portland-based S.O.S., a Police tribute band, as we say goodbye to 2018!
