Bon appetite! Eat your local heart out this month during Dine Around Seattle, the city’s popular biannual dining promotion. This event gives diners the chance to try some of Seattle’s best restaurants at an affordable price while supporting these local businesses. Participating restaurants, located in neighborhoods throughout the city, offer three-course pre-fixe menus for $33 and some offer three-course lunches for $18. These amazing deals are available until March 31st on Sunday through Thursday, excluding Sunday brunch and holidays.

Skillet | Lunch & Dinner

Skillet’s promotional lunch begins with your choice of kale Caesar salad, braised carrot soup, or skillet poutine. Entrée options include the house favorite fried chicken sandwich, classic burger with bacon, or faro burger for vegetarians. Finish off with chocolate pie in a bowl, a diner milk shake, or powdered doughnut holes. For dinner, start with a smoked sturgeon mousse, pork rillettes, or kale Caesar salad. The main course includes your choice of stinging nettle pistachio pesto pappardelle, apple rosemary pork tenderloin, or grilled flounder followed by goat cheesecake, carrot cake, or chocolate pudding for dessert.

Hecho | Dinner

Hecho Cocina y Cantina is featuring a locally sourced Mexican meal full of seasonal flavor. Begin your meal with fried plantains, Alaskan Dungeness crab empanadas, or smoked trout toastadas. Main course options are a citrus-warm spiced pork tamale with rice and beans, braised goat in chilis with rice and vegetables, and chipotle porl, carnitas, chicken, and fried cod tacos. Top is off with a dark chocolate custard, fried horchata ice cream, or custard cake.

Volterra | Lunch & Dinner

Volterra’s Dine Around Seattle lunch begins with a cream of tomato soup, Caesar salad, or vegetable salad followed by a Dungeness crab cake sandwich, tagliatelle with Anderson Valley lamb ragu, eggplant lasagna, or Casear with grilled chicken for the main course. Finish with lemon panna cotta, tiramisu, or warm chocolate cake with vanilla gelato. Dinner options are very similar with the additional options of pear and gorgonzola salad to start and wild boar tenderloin for the main course.
