Since 1974, the Ballard SeafoodFest has been a Seattle tradition and much-loved neighborhood attraction. The 42nd annual Ballard SeafoodFest is coming up on July 9th and 10th, and the music line-up for the event was just announced!

Local favorite and new artists will be featured throughout the two-day neighborhood seafood festival, with Mudhoney headlining this year’s event. Mudhoney will be followed by Helio Sequence, Smokey Brights, Maszer, Wild Powwers, and The Pro & The Con on Saturday between 1 - 10 p.m. On Sunday from noon until 9 p.m., the featured artist line-up includes Eldridge Gravy & The Court Supreme, the Polyrhythmics, Fly Moon Royalty, Polecat, Rabbit Wilde, and the School of Rock.

The festival began “as a community celebration of Ballard’s historic connection to the fishing industry and the neighborhood’s Nordic roots. Today, this free two-day festival attracts over 65,000 people who come to enjoy the traditional salmon barbecue and much more: local music, arts and crafts, family entertainment, a beer garden, a skate event, and yes – more seafood!”

Want to volunteer? Become a SeafoodFest Deck Hand to support the event with community service hours and a free salmon dinner! Sign up here. And remember, small businesses and organizations can sponsor SeafoodFest for $100 - $5,000+ to participate even more. Click here for details.

Festival Hours:
Saturday, July 9th from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m.
