November 27: Seattle Turkey Trot

The Seattle Turkey Trot is an annual 5k walk, jog or run on Thanksgiving morning. The route takes participants from Sunset Hill down to Golden Gardens. Families and leashed dogs are welcome. Proceeds benefit the Ballard Food Bank.
November 28: Ballard Gives Black Friday
Instead of “doorbusters” in the wee hours of the morning after Thanksgiving, Ballard businesses are supporting local charities and the support these organizations receive from buying local. Participating businesses will donate a portion of their Friday sales to a Seattle non-profit.
December 12-14: Nutcracker Sweets
Various times, ARC Dance Center
The Nutcracker comes to Ballard each year during ARC Dance’s rendition of the classic ballet. A full-length version of the Nutcracker is also put on by ARC Dance on December 20th and 21st.
